This site collects as little data as possible. Here is the complete list of what is stored and why.

Functional storage (always on)

Your language choice is kept in a cookie and your theme preference (dark/light) in your browser's local storage. These exist only so the site remembers your settings; they identify nothing and are never sent anywhere.

Analytics (only with your consent)

No analytics run today. If analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) is added later, it will load only after you allow it in the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Contact form

If you send a message, the name, email address and message you provide are stored in the site database and forwarded to my mailbox so I can reply. They are not used for anything else.

Member area (fishing log)

The fishing log is a private, login-gated tool. Location, weather and catch data are recorded only for signed-in members and only on their explicit action.
